When the end of the school journey calls for celebration, The Olive Grove offers a venue and package to suit every year group, school and budget.

Whether you’re planning a seated dinner or a canape-style formal with an unforgettable night of music, photos and dancing to follow, this milestone deserves to be celebrated in style. For a full-scale School Formal with all the excitement and atmosphere it deserves, The Grand Ballroom is the perfect setting.

Our experienced Event Team understands the flow, requirements and planning that make School Formals run smoothly; from arrival, seating and custom printed menus with names, to dietary needs, AV, DJ coordination, security, and photo moments throughout the night.

We take care of the booking and logistics, so students can enjoy the evening and end of school era.

Formal Packages & Inclusions

Our School Formal packages are designed to make planning simple, seamless and stress-free.

YEAR 10 & YEAR 12 FORMAL PACKAGE

Available Monday to Thursday evenings, 6pm - 10pm, our all-inclusive Formal package provides everything you need for a memorable night, including:

• Exclusive 4-hour Room Hire at The Olive Grove

• Complete Table and chair setup

• White or black table linen with your choice of coloured napkins

• Two-course alternate drop menu or Canape style menu available

• Soft drink and juice package

• Professional DJ for 4 hours, 6-10pm

• Security Guard for the duration of the event

2026 Packages — $85pp
2027 Packages — $90pp

Pricing is per person, minimum 80 people.
Parent Volunteers / Supervisors are required on the night. The number of required parent helpers is determined by the venue, based on final student numbers.

Optional Add On’s:

Lolly Bar - From $250 pending student numbers
Photo Booth, provided by venue - $600 per booking

YEAR 6 FORMAL PACKAGE

Make their final year of primary school one to remember with a fun, safe and easy to plan celebration at The Olive Grove.

Available Monday to Thursday evenings, 5pm – 8pm. Our Year 6 all-inclusive package provides everything you need, including:

• Exclusive 3-hour room hire at The Olive Grove

• Complete table and chair setup

• White or black linen with paper napkins

• Kids’ meal + ice-cream dessert

• 1 soft drink or juice per person

• Lolly Bar

• Professional DJ for 3 hours

2026 Packages — $60pp
2027 Packages — $65pp

All pricing is per person, minimum 70 people.
Parent Volunteers / Supervisors are required on the night. The number of required parent helpers is determined by the venue, based on final student numbers.
